Sliding barn door hardware - Barn doors come in two traditional designs. Sliding doors are often used for the doors of the main alley in a barn. It has the advantage of being able to be partially closed. The door can be safely left open just a foot or two for ventilation. A swinging door left open in part is not as secure and can be fully opened as animals on pushing.
Sliding barn door hardware is also completely out of the way when the door is opened. The door, hanging from his overhead tracks, is parallel to the wall of the barn. This provides a safer space for handling cattle than a room with open swinging door.
Sliding barn door hardware is often used for smaller walk-in doors. In some cases, the Dutch doors can be used. A Dutch door is really two swinging doors into an opening. The lower portion of the door pockets on the door jam, while the upper portion of the door to the lower portion of the door pockets. In this design the upper part of the door can be held open for ventilation, while the lower part of the door prevents the output of all the animals in the shed it.
